How good is the Optimum Nutrition whey protein?

Optimum Nutrition is no doubt a very good quality protein source without harmful additives, amino spiking or any banned substance. But is it worth the price? No. Way too overpriced.

Protein Powder was invented in the 1950s but became popular for common (non competing) people in the 80s. It wasn’t widely used by masses before that. And Optimum Nutrition launched in the Mid 80s, 1986 to be precise. It gained first movers advantage and created kind of a monopoly. The supplement industry was widely unregulated then, multiple folds then now, some other brands were using additives and banned substances. ON marketed heavy on this and didn't let competition thrive for a few good years at least. It marketed with top body-builders and athletes. Presented lab test reports. It became the gold standard. And they are using that to this date. They still have a good chunk of market share. You sure should buy good quality protein, but price alone is not the indicator of quality in today's time. They are using the brand name they built and selling overpriced stuff with no additional value. Other brands have same quality protein powder for half the price.

I won't name any other brand (as people might think it's a promotion). There are many good brands that sell same quality of protein, without additives or amino spiking, that have cleared all lab tests like harmful substances, heavy metals, pesticides, etc.

If everyone in Russia dropped into holes in the ground only never to return, would that be good for NATO and international peacekeepers? Can we convince Russians to be less diabolical, so they coexist? Does Putin stink like doo doo in the commode?
